I currently have two pedal steels that I use. My Sho-Bud Pro-II from the mid-seventies, and my 1965 Emmons wrap-around. I had been playing a Fessenden on the road for the past 5 years or so and was very happy with it. Unfortunately I needed to thin out the herd a bit and I just can't seem to part with either of these old friends. I have been playing the Sho-Bud on the road and used it on Robert Earl Keen's latest recording. In fact I have been using it for most of my recordings as of late. Below are photos of each guitar. |
